The Perfect Backdrop for your Adirondack Wedding
If you are looking for the perfect fall foliage backdrop for your Adirondack Wedding, look no further! There are so many great venues to choose from, but if you can find one with a lake, even better. You get those early morning foggy views, still warm days and crisp-as-an-apple sunsets.
And if you're peeping those foliage reports, we would highly suggest looking to book around the beginning to middle of October. These photos were taken on the 15th of the month on Pyramid Lake at Pyramid Life Center (just a bit east of Schroon Lake) and it was just at the tail end of peak foliage season. So gorgeous!
It obviously all depends on how far north or south you go, but either way, October in New York can't be beat! It's at the top of the thousand and one reasons we love upstate.
We would also recommend making a weekend of it for all of your guests. We recently did a summer wedding at, you guessed it, a summer camp and it was the most relaxing alternative to the hustle and bustle of a more "traditional" wedding. That one is going to be one of our next posts, so we will update this section when it goes live. :)
